Another update... I guess you could call it...

We paid the £70 to still manage a party for this coming Friday, April 12th.  My husband spoke to them on the phone and paid.  They agreed that my husband would email them back once he received the confirmation.  That all happened just after 10am on Friday, April 5th.

By Saturday we still hadn't received their email confirmation so my husband sent them an email to let them know.  According to their website, they are open from Tuesday until Sunday.

It is Monday, April 8th today and about 1:30pm at the moment.  No email as of yet.  I am assuming it won't come today since they are listed as being closed.

The thing is... if they were so adamant that us not getting the first email was not enough reason to not get our money back or be allowed to re-book at not extra cost... you'd think they'd be 100% on top of making sure we'd get the confirmation for the additional £70 we have now gone and paid!!!

AND... on top of that... we have never received a copy of the original confirmation or a receipt.. and haven't received the second confirmation or a receipt.

Deen City Farm leaves a lot to be desired and I won't be doing business with them in the future.

With your experience thus far, I'd be quite worried. I hope this time things work out. You would think they'd be going out of their way to make sure everything goes well, considering that *they* made a costly mistake the first time. I'd be calling tomorrow (repeatedly, until you talk to a real human who knows what they are talking about,) and bugging them about a receipt, at the very least. Otherwise, if things get messed up again, you have no proof and could be out not only the additional money, but another party, as well. I can't imagine how heartbreaking that would be for those little girls. :(
